Skagit River Salmon Festival

10 am - 6 pm, September 9, 2017 • Edgewater Park | Mount Vernon, WA

Artistic Rain Barrel Project

The Artistic Rain Barrel Project is designed to be a fun way to educate the community on the benefits of using rain barrels to conserve water, prevent run off, and protect the resources of the Skagit River.

The nine rain barrels listed below were sold via a silent auction on September 7 at the Skagit River Salmon Festival. The auction proceeds went to benefit environmental education and outreach through the Children’s Museum of Skagit County.

The painted rain barrels were on display around Skagit County during the month of August.

We want to thank all of our artists for donating their time and talents to making this a successful event.
